The workshop of Rembrandt Van Rijn was place of creativity, learning and expertise known for its excellent working conditions and the opportunity for his protégés to advance in their careers. This workshop birthed a generation of Dutch masters and the most compelling art in centuries. His art displayed his subjects as real humans from all walks of life. In his paintings, Rembrandt distilled the complexity of human experience into a captivating visual narrative.
